Earlier this winter, Dr. Kevin King had contacted Tom Boltz and informed him that, in the process of performing restoration work on the old building, he discovered an old wooden shipping crate full of a variety of documents and business transaction receipts dating back to the 1870’s, 1880’s and 1890’s. The documents had belonged to Mr. Henry D. Stouffer whose family owned and occupied the home at 311 N. Main during those last decades of the Nineteenth century. [CLICK for full story] |
