The North Baltimore Fire Department has received additional funding for the purchase new pagers from CSX. Friday afternoon, Peter Craig, manager of the new CSX intermodal facility, presented a check of $4,500 to NB Fire Chief Doug Ebright.

CSX as a corporation, as well as locally, places a major emphasis on safety. To

show their committment, they have made this donation to the NBFD for completion of the purchase of 30 pagers, to help ensure timely and efficient communications for North Baltimore fire personnel. D. S. Brown, several months ago, donated $3,500 to the local fire company for a portion of the new pagers.
