The Whistle Stop Inn and the NB Marathon are sponsoring a Putting Contest in conjunction with Saturday's Summer Fest. The winner will receive a $50 Food Certificate AND a $50 Marathon Gas Card.
The Putting Contest is OPEN TO ALL! You do not need to be entered in the Summer Fest Golf Outing to take your putts! All you need to do is stop by Birch Run Golf Course from 8 AM through 3 PM, Saturday, July 31, and make a Qualifying Putt. Qualifying Putts Attempts are $1 each or 7 for $5. EVERYONE who makes the Qualifying Putt will be invited to return to the Putting Green for the Putting Finals at 4:00 - sharp!
A Sequential Putt Down will be held. We will draw numbers to place qualifiers in their putting order. In the First Round everyone will have one putt. Whoever makes the putt will advance to the Second Round, those who miss are eliminated. The Second Round will proceed the same as the First Round. Using the same order as the First Round, the folks who make the putt advance, those who don't are eliminated. This will continue until only one person has made the putt, in any given round.
As a reward, if you stop by and putt, you will receive a coupon good for 10% off at The Whistle Stop Inn on ANY Monday in August! |
