Church news for Sunday, August 1, 2010 –
Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist will be celebrating the 10th Sunday after Pentecost on Sunday, August 1, with worship beginning at 10:15 am. Rev. Susan Kronbach will be preaching from Luke 12:13-21 – “What does it mean to be rich toward God?” We will also be celebrating Holy Communion. Sunday School classes for children (pre-school through 6th grade) begin at 9:15 am.
Other activities at the church this week will include exercise class Tuesday at 7:00 pm (7th grade thru adult), and committee meetings on Thursday, 8/5 at 6:30 pm, followed by Church Council at 7:30 pm.
