With all of the work going on with the tracks of the CSX Main Line running through North Baltimore, there is much maintenance and upkeep to do. The other day one of the more interesting and large and dirty and smelly pieces of equipment passed through town, grinding the rails smoother. We assume this is to make the ride a little better and the noise a little less.
