Dawn (Williams) Trout graduated from NBHS in 1984 and The Ohio State Univeristy Agricultural Technical Institute in Wooster, in 1986, with a degree in Floral Design and Marketing.
After college she studies and lived in Castle Douglas, Scotland studying horticulture and gardening at Threave School of Gardening (below) on a scholarship.
During high school, and upon her return from Scotland, Dawn worked at Ducky's Flower Shop, training under "Ducky" Waaland. She also worked at Briar Hill Golf Course. Dawn has also worked for other flower shops in Findlay, Bowling Green and Fostoria.
Mike Trout graduated from NBHS in 1987, Tiffin University in 1989, with a degree in Business Administration, and CJ Tech (Toledo) in 1993 - Ohio Peace Officers Training obtaining Certification from the State of Ohio.
They were married in October 1990, they started farming in 1994, raising grain crops, cattle, and Belgian horses.
They have three children Bill, Levi and Lucy. They live just east of town on State Route 18.
