Here is the third in a series of articles of what your North Baltimore Public Library can do for you. FREE Wi-Fi internet in the library!

Today there are about a gazillion devices that you can buy that log onto the Internet wirelessly. But around North Baltimore, there are only about a half-dozen public WI-FI hotspots.

The Library has WI-Fi in both the Library reading area and in the Wolfe Community Room. We plan to add the Children's Room soon and have 100% coverage in the building.

WI-FI is free to use here at the Library as is nearly everything we offer. All we ask is that you are courteous to others using the Library by remembering to use earphones or ear buds and not have the speakers on your device turned up too loud.

Another plus when you come in and get connected wirelessly is that there are no time limits beyond the normal operating hours of the Library and no waiting line on busy days. Just come in and find a comfortable seat and you're ready to surf the Web!

And as a reminder - the Library has no control over the content of the Internet and we can not be responsible for the protection of your device while you are logged on. It is up to you provide your own protection.
