The CSX Intermodal Rail yard west of North Baltimore has meant much activity in and around the entire SouthWood region. North Baltimore, which lies directly between the rail yard and Interstate 75, on Ohio Route 18, has seen the bulk of the increase in traffic. The contractor is Savko, based in Columbus, Ohio. Savko has rapidly enclosed the compound, moving huge quantities of prime Black Swamp Clay, into large mounds on the west and south sides. The site is abutted by the rail lines on the north and main staging area on Liberty High Road on the east.
| CSX Intermodal Construction 12/1/2009 | Please bear with me as I learn the photo processing software. I just wanted to rush to
show some photos of the $170,000,000 intermodal yard construction project.

A concrete batch plant was built on site. Supplying this operation
