"Taking a Different Path This Year" is Pastor Ralph Mineo's sermon topic at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in North Baltimore on Sunday, January 6 at 10:15 a.m. The theme of worship will be "Epiphany," the day the Christian Church celebrates the visit of the Magi from the East ("Three Kings from the Orient") following the Star.
The Junior Choir will sing an anthem titled "Follow the Star" with a bit of "Go Tell It On the Mountain" added.
Church Council members for 2013 will be installed during worship: JoLynn Stewart (President), Bill Straley (Vice-President and Discipleship), Nancy Wymer (Secretary), Clay McCartney (Treasurer), Janet Goldner (Financial Secretary), Dave Ebersole (Property Committee), Beth Williams (Sunday School Superintendent).
The Lord's Supper will be celebrated as traditional "Table Communion."
Following worship members will remove Christmas decorations for another year. |
