| Ishmael within 1 of Ohio wrestling record Posting Date: 01/12/2013 |
North Baltimore High School senior, Dalton Ishmael (195 pounds) is within one “pin” of tying the Ohio State record for Career Fall (pins), of 143, set by Derrick Bendau of Mayfield.
Dalton pinned his opponent last night in the Perrysburg Invitational Tournament quarter final round, in just 15 seconds, for his 142 fall.
He will wrestle in the semi-final today at 11 am, in hopes of tying the state record. If all goes well for Dalton, he will wrestle in the Championship to set the state record!
In addition, two Tiger Wrestlers are still alive in the PIT, as Ryan Long (106 pounds) and Brice Bankey (285 pounds) are still battling in the Consolation Round.
Go luck to our fine young men today!!! |
