| Dorothy Hosler, 84, of NB Posting Date: 01/14/2013 | Dorothy E. Hosler, 84, of North Baltimore, died at 6:53 p.m., Friday, January 11, 2013, at the Wood County Hospital, Bowling Green.
She was born on November 12, 1928, in North Baltimore to the late Emry and Lettie (Glassford) Snyder. She married Herbert E. Hosler and he preceded her in death on March 17, 2007.
Dorothy is survived by her sons: Paul (Sharen) Huff of Oak Harbor and Michael E. (Peggy) Hosler of North Baltimore; her grandchildren: Nick (Sophia) Huff of Alaska, Jennifer (Greg) Spoores of Kansas, Shelley (David) Hill of Arcadia, Teresa (Ted) Francisco of North Baltimore and Denise Meggitt of North Baltimore; her great-grandchildren: Brittany, Jenalyne, Jarett, Cody, Megan, Matthew, Chase, Alex, Grady, Drew and Emeri; her brother, Robert Snyder of Gibsonburg; her sisters: Violet Cooper of Findlay, Thelma (Lee) Marsh of Ocala, FL and Carolyn Bowers of Bowling Green.
She was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Lee Hosler; her brothers: Roy, Harold, Loren "Chuck" Snyder; her sisters: Bonnie Mason and Mildred Ferguson.
Dorothy retired in 1990 after 36 years at Norbalt Rubber Company. She was a member of the Church of Christ in North Baltimore and the North Baltimore American Legion Auxiliary Post 539. She also formerly volunteered with the food pantry.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore, with Reverend Bob Neuhard officiating. Burial will be in New Maplewood Cemetery, North Baltimore.
Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Youth Fellowship at the Church of Christ, North Baltimore.  |
