COLUMBUS—Speaker of the Ohio House William G. Batchelder (R-Medina) recently appointed State Representative Tim Brown (R-Bowling Green) to serve as a member of the State and Local Government Committee, the Financial Institutions, Housing and Urban Development Committee, and the Health and Aging Committee.

Additionally, Rep. Brown will serve on the State and Local Government subcommittee on Shared Services and Government Efficiency.

“I am honored to have the Speaker’s trust to serve on these important House committees,” said Rep. Brown. “My committee assignments will allow me to further represent the interests of Wood County’s citizens and I look forward to the important work ahead. A healthy economy is Job One, and I am looking forward to the challenge.”

Rep. Brown is serving his first term in the Ohio House of Representatives. He represents the 3^rd Ohio House District, which includes all of Wood County.
