Every 68 seconds, someone in America develops Alzheimer’s. To help individuals and families recognize the signs of Alzheimer’s disease, the Alzheimer’s Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter, will host “Know the 10 Signs: Early Detection Matters,” a free community workshop.
The workshop will be held on Tuesday, February 12, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Kingston Residence of Perrysburg, 333 East Boundary Street, Perrysburg, OH.
The workshop covers the 10 warning signs of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias and will explain the difference between normal aging and dementia, as well as tips for maintaining brain health. Early diagnosis gives individuals a chance to seek treatment and plan for the future.
