Creating a Culture of Excellence

(FINDLAY, Ohio, September 19, 2014)— The Findlay∙Hancock County Alliance, Six Disciplines Consulting Services and The Partnership for Excellence will host an engaging conversation about creating a Culture of Excellence in our local businesses and organizations on Wednesday, October 1, 11:30a.m.-1:00p.m. at the Findlay Country Club.

Paul Worstell, Six Disciplines Client Coach and retired President of the PRO-TEC Coating Company in Leipsic, Ohio, will be sharing his success stories and best practices regarding the importance of Clarity of Purpose, Over Communication, Trust Through Leadership, Setting Expectations for Behavior and Creating a Clear Line of Sight.

Participants will gain usable insight and applicable processes that can be implemented immediately to improve organizational performance.

About the Presenter, Paul Worstell

Paul brings over 40 years of leadership experience to Six Disciplines. He joined Six Disciplines in 2010 after retiring from the PRO-TEC Coating

Company in Leipsic, Ohio, a joint venture partnership of U.S. Steel and Kobe Steel, Ltd. of Japan, after serving as the company president for 14 years. Before joining PRO-TEC, he spent 26 years with U.S. Steel’s operations in the Pittsburgh region. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business economics from Mount Union College in Alliance, Ohio, in 1970 and a master’s of business administration from the University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio in 1999.


Paul serves on the Board of Trustees of The Partnership for Excellence, The Baldrige Foundation, The Blanchard Valley Regional Health Center, The Findlay Area YMCA and The University of Findlay College of Business Advisory Board. He has served as a lecturer at The University of Findlay, Mount Union College and Ohio Northern University on topics of Leadership. Since PRO-TEC’s receipt of the Malcom Baldrige National Quality Award (MBNQA) in 2007, Mr. Worstell has traveled as a keynote speaker at many MBNQA related conferences around the United States discussing the topic of leadership.
