(January 31, 2013) – G’day Mate! How about visiting Australia from the comfort of the Toledo Zoo? The Alzheimer’s Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter, will host “An Australian Walkabout: A Visit from the Toledo Zoo”” a free event at the Toledo Zoo.

It will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2013, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The Toledo Zoo staff will take individuals with Alzheimer’s along with their friends and family on an armchair journey through the continent of Australia. Learn about the exciting diversity of life in the Land Down Under and meet some live Zoo animals. Friends and family are welcome as guests.
