The first Pinewood Derby was held in California in 1953. Since then tens of millions of Cub Scouts have worked with their adult partner to make small wooden cars to race in the Pinewood Derby. The Cub Scouts of Pack #372, sponsored by American Legion Post #539, will meet to race their handmade cars.

Come and join the Cub Scouts as they show off their Pinewood Derby cars and compete against each other for this year’s trophy. All are welcome to come and support their local Cub Scouts for a fast paced day at the races. Our Cub Scout Pack now consists of 39 local boys from the North Baltimore area, who have put a lot of time and effort into these cars. Come and see the pride shine on these boys faces as they spend the day racing down our aluminum track.

The concession stand will be open and all proceeds will go towards our Blue & Gold Ceremony and our Spring Camp at Camp Berry, April 26 – 28, 2013.
