NB Basketball Alumni battle in The Jungle
Posting Date: 02/16/2013

Last year North Baltimore High School Alumni gathered in the Old Main Gym for one last battle of basketball. This year, many of these same alumni returned to play in the New Gym - The Jungle.
Once again these former "athletes" were able to do battle without anyone suffering any type of major injury, although we are guessing that many got up the next couple of mornings a bit on the sore side!
Brandy T either had a shot rejected by Frost OR was hammered in the process (looks like Donny T looking for a call from the refs!)?
The Opening Tip in the Under 30 Division - "Hang time"
In the Under 30 Division guys actually were jumping and running and "making moves".
North with his "patented" jumper from 12...
The Somewhere-in-betweeners - (30 - 44 year olds):
Nick Guy bangs one home in the key
Taking it to the hole - flying like "back-in-the-day"
At the end the guys meeted and greeted with grins - This game was tied at the end of regulation and went into "Sudden Death" (no, not playing until someone died), it was next basket wins, with Joey H. draining a Free Throw for the "W" for the White.
Old Farts "45" and up:
Now, in the "older" guys group there was not near as much jumping or running or working for position. Coach Eichar with a "jumper" from the corner. #70 appears to be "working for postion with a hand check"! Coach FROST - your knees are locked, what kind of postion is that?!!!
But there it was, a blast from the past, with the oldest player on the floor "taking it to the hole" for a "dunk" (in HIS mind)!
Aaron Bowers launching from long range for "3" by Bowerrrrrrssssssss........
