North Baltimore Fire Chief Hunker Francisco informed NB Village Council of NBFD's selection for a large FEMA grant to improve safety equipment for our firefighters.
NBFD will receive a FEMA 2012 (AFG) grant for $142,150.00 for 17 new air packs, 17 extra air bottles, 12 extra face pieces, 2 Rit pack, 1 accountibility system and a fit tester.
The federal share of the grant is 95% or 135,043.00 and the local share from the village is 5% or just 7,107. |
