Our group of NB alumni living or visiting in Florida met today in Punta Gorda for lunch. The members of our group change each time we meet as new visitors arrive and others have schedule conflicts and can't attend. As always we enjoyed many happy memories of school days and growing up in NB. Each time we meet we remember something interesting to discuss. It's always amazing the variety of careers and experiences that we've all enjoyed and how our successes are all based in the wonderful values we gained growing up in NB.
Several things we enjoyed today were pictures of a past class reunion of the 1965 graduating class, the shared interest in hunting and gardening/farming, the adventures of the Hammansburg neighbors, and how the hill at the water treatment facility has seemed to shrink over the years. Several of us remembered being a bit scared to slide down it years ago. We did also enjoy a handsome parade of SWAT officers who filed passed as they left so we could enjoy a special room for our visit.
Attached are three pictures of our group.

In picture 1 from left to right is Sally Woodruff Singer, Becky Lloyd Heister, John Heister, Louie Williams, and Ralph Sharninghouse.

Picture 2 facing from the left are John Bobb, Betty Clark Plants, Mary Clark Dix, Patty Clark Williams.

Picture 3 on the right side of the table are Janis Abbott Bobb, Judy Lloyd Cooper, Cherie Bushey Seiler.
I know the food was delicious at Phil's 41 because most of us made membership in the clean plate club but with all the fun we had visiting I'm not sure that we would have noticed if it were just average.
We did talk about how we could possibly share our sunshine and warm temperatures with our friends back in NW Ohio but haven't found a successful way to do that yet.
