A fire alarm at D. S. Brown in North Baltimore at about 10:30 this morning.

North Baltimore Fire responded quickly to the scene of the apparent smokey fire in the northern building of the D. S. Brown complex.

Bloomdale Fire responded in mutual aid.

Smoke was observed early in the call, but continued to dimish over the next half hour. No flames were present. The smoke, while stinky was not determined to be hazardous, as NBPD was providing traffic control in the area.

We hope to have a full report on the fire later today.
