Ohio EPA is accepting applications for environmental education grants through April 2, 2013.
Application guidelines posted on Ohio EPA’s website provide information about how to apply to the Ohio Environmental Education Fund (OEEF) grant program.

OEEF is administered by Ohio EPA. General grants of up to $50,000 and mini-grants between $500 and $5,000 are funded from one-half of the civil penalties collected by the Agency for air and water pollution control violations. Eligible grant recipients include environmental groups, public and private schools, colleges and universities, trade or professional organizations, businesses and state and local governments.

The next OEEF application deadline is April 2, 2013. An electronic letter of intent to apply is due no later than March 26 to enable applicants to work in the online application software. There will be another grant cycle later this year, with an application deadline on July 15, and an electronic letter of intent due no later than July 8.
