The North Baltimore Fire Department was called to the Westhaven apartment complex on Sprigg Street, on the west side of town, for a call of "burning electrical smell coming from the elevator area".

Chief Hunker Francisco reported that 15 firefighters and three trucks, responded to the mid-afternoon call. NB Police assisted at the scene.

After a thorough and complete inspection and investigation, the purported "electrical smell", nor any other signs of potential danger were observed. There were no evacuations reported.
