Church news for Sunday, March 24, 2013

Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist will celebrate Palm / Passion Sunday on March 24 with worship beginning at 10:15 am. Pastor Susan will share the events of Holy Week from Jesus’ return to Jerusalem through the stories of his passion and death, from the gospel of Luke. Sunday School for adults and youth begins at 9:15 am. Please plan to join us!

We will then be observing Maundy Thursday on March 28, with worship beginning at 7:00 pm. This service will offer a remembrance of Jesus’ last supper with his followers, and include a celebration of Holy Communion.

Other activities at the church this week include YF rehearsal Monday, March 25 at 7:00 pm, for the Easter Sunrise Service; Soup Kitchen on Tuesday, March 26 at 4:30 pm; and choir practice each Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm.
