Van Buren State Park - 7th Annual Stalk of the Wild Woodcock Walk

Saturday, March 23, 7:30pm

Join birding instructor Steve Haley at the Nature Center Shelterhouse #2 as we discuss one of Ohio's first signs of spring, the return of the Woodcock. Then caravan to this bird’s habitat in the park to search for them attracting females with their fascinating flight display. Dress warmly and wear waterproof boots or old shoes. Roast marshmallows around a campfire after the event.
