North Baltimore Police Chief Allan Baer reports yet another "new" scam being reported in the area.
According to Baer, there is a new scam out...
A person will call you (the victim) and claim to be from the Social Security Office. They will advise that there is a need to change YOUR Social Security Number. The person will ask you to confirm your social security number.
DO NOT give your Social Security Number over the phone.
Please report any suspicious calls or activities to NB PD - 419-257-2181
